Boston Cream Gummy Invasion

While working with the development team at Lazy River Products, I had the opportunity to help bring a delicious new idea to life—one that truly hits home for anyone from New England. Inspired by the classic Boston Cream Donut, the team developed a new THC Gummy flavor that captures the rich chocolate glaze, sweet custard filling, and soft donut finish of the iconic treat.

As soon as I heard the flavor concept, I knew it had to say Boston. Not just in name—but in presence, in attitude, in flavor, and in the look and feel of the entire product. I jumped into the branding and helped craft a logo that felt bold and unmistakably Boston. From there, I help design the gummy bag to complement the flavor with visual cues that nod to the city’s gritty charm and sweet traditions.

To support the launch, I created in-store signage and marketing materials that carried a unified theme: “Taking Over Boston”—because when a gummy this good hits the shelves, it deserves to make headlines.

This launch was one of my favorite creative collaborations to date. From concept to packaging to point-of-sale design, the energy was there from day one—and so was the flavor. Boston, this one’s for you.
